    No mystery here, builders and owners don't like the extra expense. If architects can figure out a way to produce better homes that people want and at a lower cost they will begin to get the majority of work.

    Thanks Chris.

    Its about creating and selling the added value, which doesn't exist in some circumstances, and isn't understood by the end user in other circumstances...but lets try and keep the comments to suggestions or edits on that item you are posting to. Unless you question the intergrity of the suggestion itself.

    Yes, I am questioning the integrity of the suggestion itself.

    I think this is already well understood -it is cost.

    Perhaps, it should be:
    9. Produce research and educational material which demonstrate the value of architects.
